My name is Ron Ralph. I have more than 25 years as a professional entertainer, performing comedy, balloon sculpturing, and performing as an emcee. I started in Chicago while in high school, performing comedy. I then began an internship with a local magician and puppeteer who taught me the art of magic while refining the art of public speaking and the social skills necessary for the entertainment business.
Upon finishing my internship, I began work with the McDonalds Corporation as a part time character performer with the Ronald McDonald Traveling Circus and became the Co-Director of Events and Entertainment of the once famous Rock and Roll McDonalds. We sponsored many charity, public, and private events. While employed by the McDonalds Corporation, I also performed in some of Chicago’s biggest and most exclusive nightclubs and restaurants, including working for the late Walter Payton of the Chicago Bears as an exclusive walk-around entertainer in his restaurants and nightclubs.
After more than 13 years of performing in Chicago, I broadened my horizons and moved to the east coast where I became more of a corporate entertainer. There, I developed skills more suitable for the automotive industry as well as the private sector with comedy and balloon shows for clients including the United States Coast Guard, United Parcel Service, as well as corporate sponsorships for fund raising with local charity events.
