Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kiyana has an original, sweet, Coloratura Soprano melodic sound. Kiyana, the older of one sibling, was raised in a very musically talented family. Watching her father, a young band member himself, and listening to her mother’s four-octave soprano sound, she was awed by their talents that she wanted to follow, with her natural born gift. When asked how were you introduced to music, she stated “I would love to hear my parents sing to each other, and would listen and watch my father sing and write songs.” “I grew up listening to some musical greats as Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Minnie Riperton,Gladys Knight, & so many more”. Kiyana has fought through many obstacles to pursue her dreams, one of which was dealing with the lost of her mother in 1997, which inspired her to continue on her musical path. She has performed & won a number of Local musical events since the age of eight years old. Also has done voiceover work for producers and performed with various Independent Artists. At the age of 21, Kiyana, began a short local modeling career but even with modeling, it lead her back into her passion music. Now Kiyana standing 5 Feet 7 inches tall, this young woman has made it obvious that she is ready to make her long lasting mark on the music industry with songwriting and singing making others stop and listen.
